Fonroche Lighting invests in Düsseldorf

Fonroche Lighting, a provider of solar-powered street lighting, is expanding its presence in Germany with a new location in Düsseldorf. The French company established its German subsidiary there in June. From its base in NRW, Fonroche Lighting plans to manage its business throughout Germany.

The company's product portfolio includes street lighting systems that operate independently of the power grid. These systems combine solar modules, smart energy storage and modern LED technology. The new location in NRW centralizes sales, consulting, planning and project implementation. The company's clients include municipalities, planning offices, installation firms and companies in the infrastructure and energy sectors. An outdoor showroom will allow for the testing of various lighting technologies under real-world conditions and the demonstration of technical applications.

Fonroche Lighting operates in more than 30 countries and over 15,000 municipalities, providing lighting solutions for streets, paths and other public spaces. The establishment of this location in NRW highlights the company’s long-term economic commitment to Germany. Additionally, Fonroche Lighting supports municipal sustainability goals by providing solar street lighting, which reduces CO₂ emissions.
